Where we came from

I spent years in construction, learning how buildings actually get built and what happens when they don't. In 2008, the industry changed. I watched good crews get caught between impossible timelines and shortcuts. That's when I decided that when I started my own business, we'd do things differently.

Morenos Construction & Repairs launched in 2016. We focused on work we knew—roofing first, then expanded into siding and carpentry because homeowners in Monroe County needed someone they could trust with more than one problem. I'm on site for most jobs. Not to supervise or clock hours, but because I still care how it turns out. In 2025, we got our roofing license, formalizing what we'd been doing with expertise and integrity from day one.

What we've learned

On-site ownership matters. We show up because details that matter to you matter to us. A roof isn't just weather protection. Siding isn't just curb appeal. These are the things that protect your family and your investment. When the owner is there, every nail goes in with that understanding.

One trade done right beats many trades done halfway. We could chase every job. Instead, we lead with roofing because we know it deeply. Siding and carpentry came later because they're extensions of the same principle: we do what we're genuinely skilled at, not what the market happens to need that week. That discipline protects you from guesswork.

Experience is still the best teacher. Construction background taught us how buildings fail and how to prevent it. We've carried that into every project we touch—understanding not just the work in front of us, but what comes after.

How we work

You'll meet the person running the work. You'll see us setting up in your driveway, asking questions about what you've noticed, what matters most to you. We move deliberately. We take photographs. We explain what we're seeing and what we're doing. When we're finished, the work speaks for itself—and so does the experience of working with us.
